How I Analyze Markets: My Research Framework
I have dedicated much of my life and my career to providing unbiased, in-depth, and trustworthy reviews and analysis of the traditional and digital assets frontier, to the best of my abilities and with utmost integrity.
My reviews and analysis are grounded in extensive research, hands-on experience, and leveraging over a decade of experience I have working in traditional finance, forex, equities, commodities, and, of course, cryptocurrencies.
I will not attach my name to any piece of content without examining the content comprehensively for accuracy and honesty, and will evaluate the relevant technology, use case, adoption record, development, team, market performance, community support, and how the topic may be affected by macroeconomic impacts, always to the best of my abilities.
Factors I Analyze When Conducting Research:
My analysis goes beyond simply sourcing publicly available information. I have been reviewing and using financial products in a professional capacity and conducting market analysis for over 10 years, often collaborating with industry insiders, stakeholders, and industry experts. In that time, across various media and news sites, I have conducted:
The most interesting aspect of my career is conducting weekly news and market analysis. Of course, this requires fluidity and adaptability and I cannot always follow a concrete framework, but my approach for market analysis looks something like this:
And of course, a researcher and analyst is only as good as their tools and data sources. Over the years, I have used many resources and find these to be among my favourites in my "go-to" toolbelt:
Editorial Independence & Accountability Protocol
Independent research requires unvarnished execution. To maintain absolute transparency with my readers, capital allocators, and industry partners, this framework is governed by a strict code of my operational ethics that I established for myself from day 1 in my career and have expanded it over the years as my responsibilities grew and I learned more about how the industry works from the inside.
1. Commercial Disclosures & Independence
No Pay-to-Play Content: I do not accept payment, sponsored tokens, or hidden allocations in exchange for positive analytical coverage or skewed risk assessments.
Asset Disclosures: Any personal positions held in digital assets, equities, or commodities are explicitly disclosed at the foot of the relevant review page; however, I do not do this on my weekly market analysis as the analysis itself is unbiased and purely technical without recommendations so I don't feel it is necessary.
Advisory Transparencies: While I collaborate with foundations, security teams, exchanges, and wallet manufacturers, these relationships are strictly technical, editorial, or advisory. They do not grant editorial veto power over my market findings.
2. The Corrections & Update Protocol
Financial markets move fast, and blockchain systems are highly dynamic. When the underlying facts of an analysis change or an error is identified, I do my best to execute the following protocol:
Visual Audit Trails: Erroneous data points are corrected immediately within the text body, accompanied by a clear, timestamped "Update" or "Correction" log at the top of the article page explaining the modification.
Community Reporting: If you detect a factual discrepancy or an outdated operational metric within my research, you can flag it directly by reaching out via my verified communication nodes on LinkedIn or X (Twitter), and I will do my best to rectify the inaccuracy or the new information that has come to light.
